We are seeking a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist to support students with diverse physical needs in the Delaware public school system. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and specialists to deliver high-quality services in an inclusive, educational setting.

Requirements:
  • Delaware License in Physical Therapy
  • Current criminal background check
  • Negative or inactive positive Mantoux TB test
  • Experience with students who have mild to severe disabilities
  • Experience in Delaware public schools (preferred)

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct evaluations and deliver physical therapy using a transdisciplinary approach
  • Provide therapy services in classrooms, community settings, small groups, and one-on-one
  • Prepare evaluation reports and track student progress
  • Develop and manage IEPs in compliance with School District procedures
  • Attend IEP meetings to assess eligibility and plan services
  • Recommend and adapt supportive equipment
  • Collaborate with school staff and engage with parents
  • Follow Cost Recovery guidelines
  • Participate in district in-service and professional development days
