SOS Personnel is seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Therapist to provide special education services at St. Stephens Indian School. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed professional who is passionate about supporting students with disabilities and contributing to a multidisciplinary educational team.


Position Overview:
  • Duration: 16 weeks, 4 days per week, 7 hours per day
  • Onsite services required
  • Serve approximately 13 students with individualized needs under IDEA


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct speech/language therapy and assessments for students referred for evaluation
  • Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Provide recommendations, documentation, and progress reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals
  • Implement goals to remediate speech and language deficits
  • Prepare required documentation including evaluations, observations, and quarterly reports
  • Present information and support staff training related to speech and language development


Minimum Requirements:
  • Active, unrestricted license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in any U.S. state or territory
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • At least 5 years of school-based experience with demonstrated knowledge and skill
  • Ability to work independently and meet all documentation and reporting requirements
  • Must pass a background check and security clearance
  • Completion of all required BIE training


Required Deliverables (during the contract period):
  • Daily: Student file updates
  • Monthly: IEP goals/objectives & assessment documentation
  • Quarterly: Student progress reports

Compensation: $75.00 per hour
