Location: Valor Point, Lakewood, CO
Hours: Wednesdays 3:00 PM–5:00 PM (4-week rotations)
 

About the Role:
Augustine Angels is building a dynamic team of local artists and instructors to teach hands-on art workshops for veterans in recovery. Each instructor will lead a 4-week course in their area of expertise, introducing techniques, creative process, and self-expression through art.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging, step-by-step art sessions
  • Bring all necessary materials (VA provides kiln/molds for ceramics)
  • Create a welcoming, encouraging environment for learners
  • Maintain class records and attendance logs

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated expertise in one or more mediums
  • Prior teaching or workshop facilitation experience preferred
  • Passion for supporting veterans and fostering creativity
  • Ability to pass VA background check

Compensation: $40.00 per hour
