Augustine Angels, a Women-Owned Small Business federal contractor, is seeking six (6) reliable, dedicated, and experienced Food Service Workers to support the Nutrition Care Division at Madigan Army Medical Center, located on Joint Base Lewis–McChord, WA.

This is a mission-driven role supporting hospital staff, patients, and visitors. We are looking for professionals who take pride in quality, cleanliness, teamwork, and exceptional customer service.

✨ Position Overview

As a Food Service Worker, you will:
  • Set up trays, utensils, beverages, salads, and desserts
  • Serve meals and restock serving lines
  • Operate and clean dishwashing and kitchen equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining and kitchen areas
  • Prepare simple food items based on production schedules
  • Track temperatures, complete cleaning logs, and follow safety protocols
  • Provide excellent customer service to staff, patients, and guests
  • Work rotating shifts, including weekends and federal holidays

Shifts may include:
  • 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
  • 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM

✨ Requirements

To be considered, you must:
  • Have at least 1 year of food service experience
    (restaurants, cafeteria, fast food, concessions, or hospital food service)
  • Be able to lift, stand, and move for extended periods
  • Be dependable and able to maintain consistent attendance
  • Be able to pass a national background check and military base access screening
  • Be willing to work weekends and holidays
  • Be comfortable wearing required uniform: uniform shirt (provided), black pants, slip-resistant shoes
  • Communicate clearly in English
  • Be customer-service oriented, professional, and team-focused

✨ Compensation & Benefits

  • $18.50–$22.00/hour (depending on experience)
  • Health & Welfare stipend (over $5.55/hr under federal wage determination)
